Snow, like fog, rain, and other "natural phenomenon" are from God. Man can not make rain, snow, or even cause fog to be more dense, less dense or to be altogether gone. ONLY God can do these things. It is by His will that we have life and enjoy the silence and peace of the snow. The comforting warmth as it blankets the world. When will the world see that we need Jesus?
Snow falls silently through the sky to the unaware world. In the forest; trees- their upmost branches reaching to the heavens, receive the snow gladly as it is nourishment to the tree roots and provides for growth. The abundance of the snow falls upon the earth where it blankets the world and offers light in the darkness. The world feels the cold of the snow and ignores the light---squinting to avoid it entirely. If the fear of falling were not real to the world they would close their eyes to the snow altogether.
The tree is firmly grounded in creation and has been growing for centuries. Each upward reaching branch is a Christian actively seeking the Lord and ministering to His people of the world, under their blanket of snow. The bark and limb of the tree are the prophets and Christians who have come before us and built our legacy of faith in Jesus Christ, the seed of the tree. Each soul in Christ joined together seamlessly feeds each other while being nourished by the Holy Word of God, the snow which comes down from heaven.
The sprouts, upward reaching branches, bark, and limb thirst for it, while the world sees, hears, and knows of it’s existence, but feels the cold of the truth it represents as it penetrates to their very soul and is numb. The souls of the world cry to the snow for mercy, while the world freezes their bodies through lies and deception of how cold the snow is and that the plants do not grow for lack of warmth. And the world sees the snow as a passing fancy that will not endure. When the truth is revealed and a soul realizes the truth of the snow, it immediately rejoices in the warmth of the snow. The world around the newborn soul is ignited with the fire of the Lord and sees it as a passing fancy that they assume will pass away and fade soon. It often does fade. But it does not become totally extinguished. Once a soul realizes the value of the snow it can never forget the warmth and love in the snow. Once the snow reaches the branches it never returns empty. Once the truth is known in the soul, the
snow becomes a rich—alive---and peaceful for the soul. The newborn souls thirsts for it because it is a new sprout stemming ultimately from Jesus Christ. As the flakes fall silently from the heavens to nourish the tree and blanket the earth it returns to the Lord a soul he has longed to be closer to. The heavens rejoice and a choir of angels sing halleluia and praises to God for this newborn soul. Along with the other budding sprouts and twigs the newborn becomes joined and seamlessly nourished by the snow.
