> I had a thought recently that I want to share with you.
> Being in the military means oftentimes saying good bye to close associates and sometimes life-long friends. About once every three or four years. Sad truth is in some cases it is really GOOD BYE forever. It is possible to see some of them again; if you happen to live in the same place or work at the same place, in which case it really wouldn't be forever, physically. However, to those whom we meet and who have the Salvation of Jesus Christ in their lives it is never good bye. For it is assured I/you will see them again.
> E-mail and electronic media can keep you in touch and assuredly the technology is wonderful. Have you ever thought when you say good bye on the phone, that may be forever? I hadn't until just now.
> My thoughts on this come as I near the end of a quarter century in service to you as a member of the US Military. On my final day in the military I will say good bye. To some it will be good bye forever. To my Brothers and Sisters in Christ it is only a physical parting of our company, we will always be connected by Our Savior and one day "when we all get to heaven"--what a day of rejoicing that will be!
> Today, be well and smile. Laugh and enjoy the radiant sunshine and glorious blue skies. Think about everyone you've met and said good bye to and would like to see again. There is a way to guarantee you WILL be with them again, THE WAY. Open your heart to Jesus and the glory and wonders of life will be yours abundantly as you seek His face.
> Peace be with you,
